Some signs and symptoms of inner peace:

Some signs and symptoms of inner peace:

# A tendency to think and act spontaneously rather than on fears based on past experiences.

# An unmistakable ability to enjoy each moment.

# A loss of interest in judging other people.

# A loss of interest in judging self.

# A loss of interest in interpreting the actions of others.

# A loss of interest in conflict.

# A loss of the ability to worry. (This is a very serious symptom.)

# Frequent, overwhelming episodes of appreciation.

# Contented feelings of connectedness with others and nature.

# Frequent attacks of smiling.

# An increasing tendency to let things happen rather than make them happen.

# An increased susceptibility to the love extended by others as well as the uncontrollable urge to extend it.

Isn't is amazing when we tend to be on the bright side, just think about how you would enjoy the feeling of being free from any unpleasantness, heavenly , right?

When you feeling blue, just call my name ( SUNSHINE ) and i will be there to shine on your darkened mood:) Cheeerrrsssss!!!

To empty ones mind of all thoughts that cause suffering is a Buddhist precept, and follows your wonderful advice for attaining inner peace.
The other way of attaining inner peace is to focus on the serene image of Sunshine.
My Buddha image is without bounds.
Right now I wish sunshine would drive away this winter's cold. I dont like winter nor do I like the cold that penetrates my whole body.
How lucky my friends here are to live in a country that enjoys the warmth of Sunshine, and sunshine all year round.

This is a wonderful post! What you have said about inner peace puts a smile on my face as I have few symptoms too! Don’t get me wrong I have a happy life, been married for 10 wonderful years, full of contentment, I couldn’t ask for more!
If you found happiness & serenity in life you don’t engage in small talk! Instead you stay clear from small-minded people, don’t make a comments about them as I believe silence means many things… so I let other people judge me rather than judging what they do or have done to me! Each one of us is entitled to our own opinion; perhaps I’m not very opinionated person, I tend to listen rather than talking too much! You do not acquire inner peace overnight; you have souls searching for a while before you feel it & once its there you feel perfect!

Nice to see you on my blog Ging!.. Yes, i agree with you... inner peace is not acquired overnight...We have to work on our demons inside, learn self control, acceptance and the ability to surrender and let God do the rest for you.

Crissy, it is normal to worry about our children, specially when they got ill even just a cold..
Believe it or not, when my kids were small i had an extreme fear that if I let them go outside something bad will happen to them..it took me a very strong will to get rid of those unpleasant thoughts... coz if i didn't it would have killed me..

For me, this inner peace i have inside comes from God.. He is my strength in my heart, I offer all to Him whatever bothering me, i surrender all to Him. I talked to Him in my prayers like face to face..

And i trully believe in this verse.. --> Hebrew 13:5
***God will never forsake you nor abandon you***

Sipping Vodka

A new priest at his first mass was so nervous he could hardly speak.

After mass he asked the monsignor how he had done.

The monsignor replied, " When I am worried about getting nervous On the pulpit, I put a glass of vodka next to the water glass. If I start to get nervous, I take a sip."

So next Sunday he took the monsignor's advice.

At the beginning of the sermon, he got nervous and took a drink.

He proceeded to talk up a storm.

Upon his return to his office after the mass, he found the following note on the door:
1) Sip the vodka, don't gulp.
2) There are 10 commandments, not 12.
3) There are 12 disciples, not 10.
4) Jesus was consecrated, not constipated.
5) Jacob wagered his donkey, he did not bet his ass.
6) We do not refer to Jesus Christ as the late J.C.
7) The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are not referred to as Daddy, Junior and the spook.
8) David slew Goliath, he did not kick the sh*t out of him.
9) When David was hit by a rock and was knocked off his donkey, don't say he was stoned off his ass.
10)We do not refer to the cross as the "Big T."
11)When Jesus broke the bread at the last supper he said, "take this and eat it for it is my body." He did not say " Eat me" .
12)The Virgin Mary is not called " Mary with the Cherry,.
13)The recommended grace before a meal is not: Rub-A-Dub-Dub thanks for the grub, Yeah God.
14)Next Sunday there will be a taffy pulling contest at ST.Peter's not a peter pulling contest at St. Taffy's.

Mavis, my little girl

.

This is my little girl, and her name is Mavis..I've been taking care of her since she was three months old. She will be 11 years old this coming April...She is a very smart, witty, sweet, loving and charming girl.. she can be naughty at times though..

When she was still a baby, she used to sleep in my bed and if she wakes up in the middle of the night she wont' stop crying till I lay down beside her.. We are very close, and I treat her like my own and her mom and dad knows it. She is very sweet when she feels like it LOL.. we argue a lot these days as she have her own mind now. she can reason out to you like an adult.. smart girl.. But i know she loves me ( and i love her too ).. try to alienate me and she will be the first to react!!! Yes, i have proof lol.. one time we were inside the MTR (train) someone accidentally bumped me and i nearly fall.. wow she is something .. she bumped back the person... ( giggle )..

When she was smaller she told me that when i get older and can't do my work anymore, she promised to take care of me.. that i will just lay down on the couch and watch TV or just eat and sleep... she will do it all for me.. I was so touched by it, imagine a 5 years old girl could say such sweet words... I had given her a very tight hug that time..

She is a bit chubby and she blames me for it .. coz according to her I cook too much food.. LOL..

Hope you will enjoy looking at her chubby pics.. :)...ssshhh please don't say she is chubby she might pinch u LOL..

Some may be-little my kind of job but I don't care though.. I am happy with it:

1. This is a decent job, not a white collar job as they say but I am happy to have it.

2. Through this job, I raised and sent my two sons to college..

3. The pay is good enough and it provides our daily needs and other necessities.

4. Lastly, I enjoy having Mavis in my life as I came to practice my patience and i learn things everyday just dealing with her..

BTW, she made a poem by herself and i would love to share it to all of you too..

Food

Food, food I love you so,
People say go on a diet, but what do they know.
Food, food you make me grow,
You are the one on that makes me glow.

Smoothies and milkshake,
They all go great with a nice chocolate cake.
Ice cream and whip cream,
Why couldn’t I get you out of my dream?

Food, food I love you so.
I will always love you wherever I go.
Food, food you may not know,
But in my life, you play the leading role.

Hehehehe.. she loves food.. who could blame her LOL

The Pants

The Pants magnify
I got stumbled across this cute short story while i was deleting my filing up e_mails and i decided to share it to all of you.. There is a lesson to it.. never intimidate your newly wedded wife.. or else no honeymoon at all LOL..
ENJOY!!!
A young couple were in their honeymoon suite
on their wedding night. As they undressed for bed,
the husband, who was a big burly bruiser, tossed his
pants to his bride and said, "Here, put these on."
She put them on and the waist was twice the size
of her body. "I can't wear your pants," she said.
"That's right and don't forget it," said the husband.
"I'm the man in this family."
With that, she flipped him her panties and said,
"Try these on." He tried them on and found he could
only get them on as far as his kneecaps.
He said, "Hell, I can't get into your pants."
She said, "That's right, and that's the way it's
going to be until your damn attitude changes!"
